Advertising Week Europe 2019
Yesterday, I spoke on a panel at Advertising Week Europe 2019. The panel was about Developing Data-Led Creative, where we discussed how modern communications needs more than creative content and media working together to be effective, and how it needs to use data to constantly improve itself. I spoke alongside Americo da Silva (Global Head of Integrated Brand & Communications of Shell), DuBose Cole (Director of Strategy, London of VaynerMedia), Lucy Aitken (Managing Editor of WARC), and Clemence Beauchamp (Agency Partner Lead, LinkedIn). It was great to get views from brands, agencies, publishers and platforms for a really well-rounded discussion.
I am never sitting on a chair for a talk ever again by the way, sitting down is not good for publicly photographed muffin tops!
