DeviantArt is a funny old thing. I had a quick look today to see what’s been happening on a very old, out-of-date profile of mine, to find that one of my photographs has been used as either inspiration or as a stock photo. The same image has been used not just once, but three times.

The image in question is this one:

It’s not the most exciting image in the world, yet three people have used it as inspiration in their own work. I really like the fact that a simple image of mine has inspired someone else to make something of their own. I suppose this quote of mine really does ring true:

“I aspire to make films that capture the imagination of those who watch them; much like my favourite films did to me when I was younger.”
