It was my birthday yesterday! Happy 23rd to me! (Although I refuse to acknowledge that I am 23 and when asked, I am either 18 or 21 depending on what mood I am in.)

As part of my birthday, I went to see the Amazing Spider-Man at The O2 in North Greenwich (which I thought was a great film and knocks seven bells out of the Tobey Maguire versions – I will not mention my hatred for the 3rd movie.)

But I am not writing this post to fill you in on my birthday. I travelled to The O2 in style.

I travelled via The Emirates Airline Cable Car, which connects The Royal Docks to North Greenwich in London, over the River Thames. Only one word can describe this journey: FANTASTIC!! It was like a roller coaster, but much slower and cheaper with fantastic views.

Not bad for a small compact camera, eh? I want to go back with my DSLR and see what shots I can get with that!
