Happy New Year everyone!

2012 was an absolute blast for me, having interned for Maverick Media, winning a Video CV competition and finally getting myself a permanent full time job in the film industry. It’s weird to think that everything that I did that year added up to a big milestone in my life, so I cannot wait to see what 2013 has in store for me.

I have now been working as a Runner for Molinare Film & TV for 10 weeks and time has flown by. I settled in very quickly and have learnt a lot about Post-Production in such a short space of time. The people are fantastic here and it’s always very amusing having an editor tell you “this isn’t what it looks like”, when you have walked in on a sex scene edit.

Onwards and upwards, as I am always striving to further my career; I have made myself a few New Years Resolutions to expand my portfolio and showreel, including:

  • Update CV
  • Create 5 short films / animations
  • Write a script
  • Publish an App
  • Enter two competitions
  • Design a logo for myself
  • Earn a promotion!

I think that should keep me occupied throughout 2013!
