Keeping Busy
Ah the scary months after graduating… It’s a weird ol’ time. A time of excitement and getting yourself financially stable blended together with a dose of trying to work out what the hell you want to do with your life.
Well, I’ve worked out what I want to do.
I am determined to work in the film industry. Huge Hollywood blockbusters to be exact. Oh yes.
I am already off to a flying start, as I can already add a two week internship on Tim Burton’s new stop-motion animation ‘Frankenweenie’ to my CV and two day rushes runner on ‘Song for Marion’, starring Gemma Arterton (St. Trinian’s) and Christopher Eccleston (Dr. Who).
Not bad as I only graduated 2 months ago! Ok, well I’m not quite hitting the big time yet, but it’s a start! Both of which being great experience and has made me even determined to get into this industry!
How on earth did you get those internships?!
I found out about the Tim Burton one through the shop I work at – the art buyer of the production came in regularly to buy health and safety equipment and told me about the internship. I applied and got it 🙂
Where/how do you apply?
