London Film Museum
A couple of months ago I took an impromptu visit to The London Film Museum.
I had read in a magazine that my favourite animator of all time, Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans, King Kong) had an exhibition there with all of his models and I just had to go and see!
The Ray Harryhausen exhibition was fantastic and one of the best I have ever seen (maybe because I am a uber fan of his). Seeing how much detail was put into the relatively small models was incredible – especially the Medusa (Clash of the Titans) model, which had hairy armpits (I lol’d). Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to take any photographs in the exhibit, but I do highly recommend it! It’s on ’til June I think.
However, little did I know what other delights were being exhibited in the same museum!
(Sorry for the quality of the photos, I only had my phone to take photos with as I didn’t realise that I’d want to take pictures!)

Night at the Museum 2: Rexy
I didn’t realise this was animatronic and the people working there purposely turned it on as I was having a good gander. I jumped out of my skin -_-

I was impressed to find that the material was made out of loads of ‘S’s. A cool fact I think.
