This weekend, I spoke at DCMN’s SCALE18 conference in Berlin. SCALE18 explores today’s innovations and tomorrow’s possibilities in marketing, media and more, where you hear from digital businesses and startups that are bridging the gap between old approaches and the new. I spoke about how to create branded content for short attention spans, and how BuzzFeed stays agile and nimble in its appraoch to do so.

This was my first conference that I have spoken at, and there were around 700 people in the audience – yikes! I’m glad to say that apart from the nerves and a few technical glitches (having to stay agile and nimble myself), that the talk went really well and I received lots of great feedback from audience members. I feel like I’m walking on cloud nine right now and look forward to speaking at more events!
